Social Mission

The Gathering Rooms aim is to help young people with Autism improve their work and social skills through the help and support of dedicated staff, as they participate in the day to day business of our cafe and print room. In the cafe there will be tasks such as waiting tables, food prep, menu design, baking, barista skills, making smoothies/juices and putting together lunch orders. Our young people in the Print Room can also improve their graphic design skills with help from Padhraic as they learn about photoshop, indesign, design new cards and personalised prints, finish cards by adding embellishments, packing cards, getting customer orders ready and stock taking.


what we have to offer

The Gathering Rooms provide a safe, friendly space for young people aged 16-25 with Autism to experience a real work environment and receive guidance and mentoring from support staff to flourish in a social setting. Each individuals needs are carefully assessed and our support workers tailor a work and learning programme to provide the best learning and personal development outcome possible.  We have two training options with in the Eating Room Cafe or within The Print Room which designs and produces greeting cards
